FitDutchies on detox cure at Health Holidays – part 1

Tomorrow it is finally time for me to go on vacation. This time no party holiday, skiing holiday or city trip. But something completely different. I go on an 8 day holiday to Kas in Turkey for a DETOX cure at Health Holidays.

Detox cure? Yes, you read that right. Internet and Instagram are full of it and in addition it sounds pretty fancy, but what is it really?

“Detox: A way to detoxify and cleanse your body – that is, you support your body in breaking down unwanted substances in your body.”

That sounds attractive. Earlier I also ventured on a so-called “body cleansing cure”, but due to my busy and especially social life I found it difficult to complete such a cure. As a result, the final result deviated from my expectations and at that time I did not succeed in achieving the ultimate detox result.

But what if … ..I give myself the time and the peace to experience this during a holiday with people who have the same goal, under professional supervision? What effects will this have on my body and mind?

My motto: ‘being with them is part of’, is therefore very appropriate here. I therefore can not wait to start tomorrow with the juice cure and the sports program of Health Holidays. An organization with no less than 30 years of experience in the field of health travel (juice cure holidays including sports program). In my opinion I am in good hands!

Last week I started my preparation on the advice of Health Holidays. Because of my, usually healthy diet, the preparation was not extreme, but I had to say goodbye to my daily shot or caffeine, HELP! But I succeeded; I have quietly finished, so that the withdrawal symptoms during the juice cure are limited.

My suitcase is packed, this time with sneakers and sportswear (items that I normally would leave home when I go on vacation). But most importantly; I am ready for this challenge and am really looking forward to it.
